So much fun to see the creativity we are resorting to during lockdown, and why not? I have been part of all kinds of fun events including a tour of Italy, a Treasure Hunt and a quiz... I've even worn a tiara and my pajamas to a breakfast Zoom meeting. After winning one super easy quiz my friend delivered flowers, cookies and an encouraging note at 10pm at night. Absolutely wonderful!! What has surprised you recently? #reachpotential #lockdowncreativity ... See MoreSee Less
What does spring mean to you? For me it makes me remember "Cherry Blossom Viewing" parties during my time in Japan. We had so much fun eating, drinking and singing karaoke under spectacular trees, with good friends and their families. Spring is full of colour and hope, the promise of fresh, new beginnings. Absolutely my favourite season of the year! P.S. Delightful seeing people walking their bunnies under the trees☺️

You are awesome
This latest lockdown in Auckland, now in its seventh week, has been tough on me personally and basically many in my world. A huge effect on some and I can see their mental health suffering. I keep coming back to focus, what am I focusing on? We all have choices every day. We can choose to focus on hope, or focus on all the fear. Hope gives us the willpower to keep believing, and keep working on making the world a better place. Focus on ways to improve your world. You can control the action you take, be it just one small step. One small step leads to another one. Please feel free to reach out for a chat any time, that is one thing I can offer. I'm tapped in to some amazing positive people and tools. They empower me to help others. Sending my best to you and yours.

Today I went for a walk in Cornwall Park and the daffodils and spring flowers were just beautiful. With spring here officially next Wednesday (and still in Level 4 lockdown in Auckland) is it time to do a little spring cleaning in your computer? And learn some amazing tricks to save you time with all those emails we get these days? Focus - at this time in lockdown there is so much going through my mind. Are you in the same boat? What can be done about this? Distraction and focus are practices. I have learned I an very good at being distracted, my mind going from 1 thing to the next all the time. I have tools to combat this at work but there is a bigger picture. We become very good at what we practice.
The solution is to make sure I practice focus through breathing and meditation, things I never thought I would be consciously doing. Feeling more focused and peaceful at times, I am still a work in progress. Check this amazing man out The www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzCaZQqAs9I #reachpotential #breathingtechniques ... See MoreSee Less
Happy Lockdown Day 1! Here we go again. It is unsettling so if you are feeling isolated or need a good chat I am always here. Stay safe and make the most of this time. For some of us a lockdown can slow us down and help us to focus differently. Sending my best to you and your loved ones ❤ l s ... See MoreSee Less
These two are hilarious! It has been a privilege to get to know them both over the last year and help Rory Jon Wyatt initially in his first business. They have now joined forces, so incredibly happy to see their success! #businessacceleration #celebratingrelationships #reachpotential ... See MoreSee Less
Here is a great story born from The Crate - Flexible Office Space, Rosedale, Albany, Auckland, New Zealand. Rory Jon Wyatt and Tash Gate both started separate businesses in 2020 during lockdown. They have now joined forces through meeting at The Crate and having an office space there. Naked Marketing has been officially launched this month and their complementary skills will take this company far! Watch this space! Congratulations and huge respect to Dean Payn for creating a space where this magic can happen. #nakedmarketing #businessacceleration #celebratingrelationships #reachpotential ... See MoreSee Less
Meet Rachael Neale, Founder of Solve Group and Compostaway, and her husband Will, who are currently launching a business that has been years in the making. Check out www.compostaway.co.nz - NZ's first nationwide, on-demand collection service for compostable cups and lids. So much of our "compostable" waste does not end up as compost. Rachael has worked tirelessly to tick every box so that the boxes, cups and lids do end up as compost. An amazing service for anywhere that throws away coffee cups - corporates, businesses, cafes...
I have been working with Rachael for nearly a year and the investment that has been made is huge in every way. Rachael and Will are a couple with massive hearts for people, the world and have indisputable integrity. Please support this business by sharing this exciting news! I'm sharing this personal news as I know this is a challenge for many of us, especially as we get older. I have managed to lose 10 kilos (and 49cm) over 16 weeks and still on the way down. I am fitter and feeling so much better in myself. Having never really struggled with my weight till my 40's it was often a shock to walk by a shop window and see the person in the reflection. I thought that couldn't be me as I didn't see myself like that!
Weight loss is like managing time, all around habits and I had some bad habits. Basically starving myself half the day and far too much celebrating life with a busy social life. I'm still very social (and I have concluded negotiating wine and food at social events will always be something for me to be conscious about) but have changed my habits and my routine to be able to follow a programme that works. We are surrounded by information on health and wellness, yet we struggle. The key for me was having a coach, encouraging me always, even when I fell off the wagon. I have learned so much about myself the last 4 months. I know now that I will be healthier and happier for the rest of my life. Huge thanks to @Dean Payn for getting me started and being there! Do you need a shift in habits? They frame our life and businesses. #reachpotential ... See MoreSee Less

As I prepare a presentation for my The Networking Group (TNG) meeting I am reminded of the influence my clients and those in my network who support me and my business, have had in my life in the last 12 months. I am SO grateful of the support and encouragement this year especially after a personal family loss and as we all go through this new, crazy business environment. Life is so much better and happier with quality people around you. If I personally thanked everyone we would be here for days. Thank you, hopefully you know who you are!
